John is one of the co-founders of META Real Estate Partners.  Along with Bob Worthington, John is responsible for setting the overall direction of the company, identifying new investment opportunities and most importantly mentoring and supporting an outstanding team of dedicated and passionate real estate professionals.  John also leads the company’s development platform, focusing primarily on market selection, site acquisition, project capitalization and conceptual design.  He, Bob and Pitt Hyde have been business partners since 1993.  John grew up in Nashville, graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and lives in Atlanta.  He actively involved in ULI and serves on the board of Georgia Organics and the board of the Carl Sanders YMCA.  John enjoys hiking, fishing, gardening, reading, cooking and weekly shopping trips to local farmers markets with his daughter.  He and his wife, Greer, have a son and a daughter.
